ABOUT
John C. Becker, Jr.
LPC, CAADC, CEAP, CTR, SAP
John has spent the last 10 years helping individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. The foundation of his counseling style is built on establishing mutual trust and respect. In his practice, he utilizes a range of evidence-based approaches that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Brief Therapy, to help his clients reach their identified goals.
As a former police officer, his focus has always been on helping other first responders and veterans. His background, training and experience give him a unique understanding of the culture, challenges and stressors of being a first responder. John understands "the job" and how it influences all areas of one's life. Whether your challenges are work-related, personal or a combination of both, John believes a collaborative approach works best.
